[ Somehow Welt has the most amount of respect from IV so far. It's not much but it's something. Anyway, the man is pissed, what else is new. Why is he here to suffer the world's stupidest dance. ]
Can't even have a fucking drink at a party without it leading to death and a stupid dance.
[ not sure how he managed this, but he'll take it.
and tiredly hum a noise of agreement as he hears IV's ranting, flipping through one of the conspiracy theory periodicals from the combination shitshow. ]
The dance at the end has me thinking that there's someone behind this whole mess. It's very much "playing with dolls," in my opinion.
Ugh. And here I was thinking more that there were parasites in the food and drink. Unfortunately, it appears our one self-proclaimed doctor is dead now.
[ Jiaoqiu should not have put things in his mouth. His own fault. ]
... [ roblox oof. welt's exhaustion shifts into quiet, agitated grief with a trace of guilt. a desire of if only more could have been done. he closes the periodical. ]
I caught bits and pieces, when I was in the lobby. That they had been taken somewhere, rather than going by choice, before they found themselves in the elevator again after falling from a height. A bit above paygrade for parasites, I think.
[ Arms crossed. He doesn't seem to be emitting any sense of feels-bad about their deaths, but he does get a vague sense of when you pay respects to someone dead. Just for Jiaoqiu though. And that's only if he was a real doctor, he's not totally sure right now. ]
Yes, supposedly a villain named Britney is to blame and they're hiding away behind whatever it is behind those elevator doors. Makes much more sense why they seem to be infinitely more blast-proof than the rest of anything here, doesn't it? All the more reason to wrench it open.
[ it'd be his word, confirming that jiaoqiu was in fact a doctor, but what's it matter now? the poor man died with no means of being saved - no antivenom, no rescue, not for any of them. ]
And something about snakes aboard the plane they were on... [ why does that sound familiar to him. hm. anyways. ] I'm not sure what, exactly, we could use to get through the doors. We could try to fuel and hotwire the cars, send them through the front of the lobby and into the doors. But that's a matter of finding fuel.
Everything about this place feels like some kind of shit prank.
[ The real villain is going to be Mr. Beast as Sam Reich. ]
"Hotwiring" wouldn't be an issue, but that schoolgirl's massive cannon and the antennae girl claims not even her grenade launcher would work on it. I suspect a car would also be like to crumble.
[ lowe that's such a cursed fucking sentence to read. ]
Hm... so we're able to destroy things, but not the locked doors that are barring us passage anywhere. I wonder if we can siphon gas out of the car in the Sears and put it in one of the vehicles by the studio, just to see if we can't find a means past the snow wall.
Drive off into the horizon? May not be the worst idea to try. Some sad planets really do only have one civilisation, but it's decently structured that there might be more.
Fuck, I'll go on foot if I have to. Dare I say I'm typically more sturdy than most of your lot who look the way you do. Surprises notwithstanding.
Mm, it's possible this is the only city - but I doubt that, unless it was created in a void for us to be playthings to some higher power behind this.
But if we can get the van up and running, we can fit a good number of us in it to at least take those that are less resilient. Others can bundle up and walk if that's the option.
W1, monday
